The candidate is also able to initiate a conversation on topics that are familiar, of personal interest, or relevant to everyday life without any preparation (e.g. family, hobbies, work, travel, and current events).
The candidate uses simple language to connect phrases and describe experiences, events, dreams, hopes, and ambitions. The candidate provides brief reasons and explanations for opinions and plans. Furthermore, the candidate can tell a story or describe the plot of a book or film and describe reactions.
The candidate has the ability to comprehend texts that are composed mostly of high frequency, commonplace language. They are able to understand accounts of events, emotions, and desires in personal letters.
The candidate is able to clearly and concisely write about topics of personal interest, as well as write personal letters describing experiences and impressions in an interesting way.
